Method Quarter and core the apples and cut into small pieces that will fit through juicer. Push the cranberries and apple chunks through juicer. Add the vanilla syrup to the juice and refrigerate until ready to serve. Pour the juice into glasses and add ice cubes (if desired), top up with sparking mineral water and serve. Method Heat cranberry juice in a pan and add honey (to taste). Stir well until all the honey has dissolved and the juice is warmed through. Season with nutmeg, add cinnamon sticks to each glass and serve.

Method Strip the redcurrants from their stalks and reserve half a cup full. Hull the strawberries and reserve 1 3/4 cups, push the remainder through the juicer together with the redcurrants. Pour the liquid into a punch bowl or pitcher and stir in the liqueur. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Halve the remaining strawberries and add to juice along with reserved redcurrants. Add ice cubes and mint, top up with cream soda or lemonade (which ever you prefer) and serve. Place on the table and allow guests to help themselves.
