Top Tip

Make up several varieties of juice and pour into pitchers or jugs. Place the juice drinks on the table with glasses near by and allow guests to pick and choose the drinks of their choice.


Heavenly lavender Lush - Party Drinks

This lavender scented juice with its heavenly aroma is simply divine. Simply make up and refrigerate until required.

For additional effect use lavender sticks as stirrers and keep your ice bucket topped up with plenty of ice.

Ingredients

  • 8 large oranges
  • 3 tbsp caster sugar (superfine)
  • ice cubes
  • 12 - 14 lavender flowers

Method

Remove lavender flowers from stalks and place in a bowl with sugar plus 1/2 cup boiling water. Stir the mixture until all the sugar has dissolved then leave for 10 minutes allowing the flavors to infuse.

Whilst waiting squeeze all the oranges using a citrus juicer and pour the juice into a jug. Strain the lavender mixture into the orange juice and place into the refrigerator to chill.

That's it, just place your pitcher on the table and your all set and ready to go. A Very Quick, Simple and Easy drink to create.

 

 

Watermelon Suprise

A cool refreshing juice with it's light watermelon taste and warm honey surprise.

Ingredients

  • Juices of 2 limes
  • 4 cups of chilled water
  • 1 watermelon
  • Clear honey
  • Ice cubes - to serve

Method

Cut the watermelon into chunks and discard the skin and seeds. Place the chunks into a large bowl and pour the chilled water over the top, leave to stand for 10 minutes.

Once the 10 minutes is up strain off the watermelon and push the chunks through a juicer, add your lime juice and honey to the mixture and stir.

Pour your delicious juice into a pitcher and set on the table.

 

 

Baby Shower Orange Squash

A light refreshing drink packed full of fresh juicy oranges that can be served still or sparkling or a combination of both. Great Party Drinks to make and create.

Ingredients

  • 7 large oranges
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar - Superfine
  • Still or sparkling water or both - to serve.

Method

Pour the sugar into a pan and add 1/2 cup of water, heat the mixture gently and stir until all the sugar has dissolved.

Boil rapidly for 3 minutes or until the mixture has a syrup like texture, remove from heat and set aside.

Remove the skins from 4 oranges and cut the flesh into small pieces then push through juicer. With the remaining 3 oranges cut them into smaller chunks with skins left on and push them through the juicer.

Add all the syrup to the juice and stir. Pour the mixture into a pitcher and place into the refrigerator until required.

When serving add still or sparkling water to the jug and place on the table.

Top Tip

Make a combination of orange juice drinks. Some sparkling and some still. Offering a good variety of drinks is essential and allows guests to pick and choose as desired.

 

 

Party Drinks - Pink Delight

This is a gorgeous combination of great tastes and textures.

The delicious raspberry's and grapefruits are central to this mouthwatering party theme drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 4 pink grapefruits
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar - superfine
  • Wedge of melon
  • Crushed ice

Method

Place the cinnamon stick in a small pan and add 1 cup of water, heat slowly until all the sugar has dissolved then boil for 1 minute. Take off heat and allow to cool.

Remove the skins from the grapefruits and cut the flesh into small pieces. Juice the raspberries and grapefruits and pour the mixture into a pitcher.

Take the cinnamon stick from the syrup and pour the syrup into the grapefruit and raspberry juice pitcher.

For decoration. Slice the watermelon into long thin wedges and place in tall glasses, half fill the glasses with crushed ice and pour your pink delight fruit juice over the top.
