The Surprise Baby Shower Theme

A surprise shower is just like any other baby shower theme but with the main element being the surprise. You can still incorporate any shower theme you like, from boys to girls through to sports and jungle themes to a million and one other theme's if you wish.

If you want to embellish the theme a little more, use a baby shower surprise banner. You could even make this yourself by simply using eight pieces of A4 card stock paper and writing the letters on each piece until they spell out the word surprise.

String them together and hey presto you have a surprise baby shower banner.

Of course, this is a very basic banner. You could add free clip art pictures from the internet or make the banner look pretty with ribbons.

Another good touch is to have the baby shower cake say something like "Surprise Shower" on it, just to add to the surprise feel of the party.

But the one main thing with this type of shower is of course the SURPRISE. Try to make sure no one slips up and get your plans sorted out well in advance.

Things to consider

• Where will the party be held?
• Will it look suspicious to mom?
• Timing is paramount and co-ordination is key.
